The federal government has brought into force new legislation to govern all federally incorporated not-for-profit corporations. This new legislation, the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (NFP Act) requires that all federally incorporated not-for-profits, including CNA, transition to the NFP Act by October 17, 2014. Transitioning requires CNA to draft and approve Articles of Continuance and new bylaws that are compliant with the requirements of the legislation.

In late May, CNA held several sessions of a one-hour information webinar to give voting delegates and members more details about the new bylaws and to address their questions.
Below are links to the recordings of each webinar. The content for each session is the same.
