Berna Moss, BN, RN

Berna Moss is admired for her caring attitude, clinical expertise and her ability to lead and inspire a health-care team to strive for excellence. A key lobbyist and project researcher, Berna was instrumental in the formation of the first rural primary care centre, which opened in Bassano in 1989. At the time, instituted palliative care was still a new concept and Berna worked to set up a palliative care room, respite room and quiet room for families of patients. She also served on regional and provincial palliative care associations.
