Kimberley Trotter, RN, BScN, MN

With over 30 years’ experience in nursing, Kimberley Trotter has made significant contributions to advancing health equity at Ottawa Public Health (OPH). Most notably, she co-chairs the Health Equity Leadership Committee (HELC) and has developed the organization’s first HELC Action Plan. Kim has also made strides in advancing Indigenous health within OPH: planning agency tours, leading the Urban Indigenous Health Strategy, maintaining relationships with key organizations and supporting teams such as the First Nations, Inuit and Metis (FNIM) outreach network in their own journey to better serve this community. Kim has done an excellent job in her role as a health equity specialist and an Indigenous health lead for OPH.
