Robert Jr. (R. J.) Edralin, RN

While much of R.J.’s nursing career involved working in the emergency department and other acute care settings, he is very passionate about palliative and end-of-life care. R.J. values inter-professional teamwork and advocating with patients and their families to promote the best quality of care and outcomes. He also assumed roles in safety initiatives, administration, and education. Recently, R.J. embarked on a new leadership role as the clinical care coordinator for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) at the University Health Network in Toronto, and is making a meaningful impact on the evolving landscape that is shaping the future of nursing practice.
