Nursing Leadership Conference – Advisory

Ottawa, February 11, 2011 - The Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), in partnership with five national health organizations, is hosting its 12th Nursing Leadership Conference at Le Centre Sheraton Hotel in Montreal, February 13-15, 2011.

Guest speakers: Phil Fontaine, former national chief, Assembly of First Nations Deborah Grey, Member of Parliament (retired) Evan Solomon, CBC television broadcaster.

The 2011 conference theme, Nursing Leadership: So What? Now What? provokes thought about the difficult questions surrounding nursing leadership. Where are nurse leaders making real differences? How are they happening? How can nurse leaders sow the seeds of those successes across the system and the country? The action-oriented program is designed to appeal to nurse leaders in all roles and at every level of experience, and to focus on their real-time impacts on patient, nurse and system outcomes.
