Clinical Nurse Specialist Association of Canada Joins the Network

The Clinical Nurse Specialist Association of Canada (CNS-C) recently joined CNA’s Canadian Network of Nursing Specialties as an emerging group. Although newly incorporated as a non-profit society, CNS-C has over 500 members. Its mission: to provide a leadership platform that helps clinical nurse specialists (CNSs) influence health system change that is both cost effective and supports safe, quality care and superior outcomes.  CNS-C sees the CNS role as an essential part of a sustainable health-care system. Their goals include increasing the use and visibility of the role and making the CNS title a protected title.

If you’re a CNS and would like to know more about this new association, please contact Elizabeth Morin at emorin@cna-aiic.ca.
