The Dorothy Wylie Health Leaders Institute is a four-day residential, interprofessional leadership program delivered in a superb setting. It features a variety of highly respected leaders and facilitators who guide participants through a concentrated study of leadership principles, models, behaviours, skills and tools.

Key features include an evidence-based conceptual framework, delivered via experiential learning, and a structured web-based followup. Attendees will be provided with individual access to Harvard ManageMentor for a period of one year.

Following CNA’s annual meeting of members in Ottawa, CNA will host a one-day Dorothy Wylie Health Leaders workshop focused on practices and approaches to develop effective and resilient leadership.

Participants will:

  • Get an overview of current leadership trends, principles and skills
  • Learn about Kouzes and Posner’s five practices of leadership
  • Gain insights on being self-aware when interacting with others
  • Develop an understanding of the importance of resilience for effective leadership
