Indigenous Leaders Series

The Indigenous Leaders Series was launched by the Canadian Academy of Nursing in 2020.

The intent of the series is to seek the wisdom and teaching of Indigenous leaders who can help us have honest confrontations and conversations to identify colonial or other excluding structures within CNA and across nursing. We want to dismantle damaging structures, share lessons and advice, and think through tough questions such as how to respond to the historical roles of nurses in residential schools, hospitals, and social systems.

Upcoming speakers and topics.
