All documents and information related to each certification applicant will be treated as confidential. They will not be released without the candidate’s consent in accordance with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
CNA will release a candidate’s certification results to his or her national specialty association and/or employer if the candidate consents on their application form. To make any changes to the consent you provide, please contact the CNA certification team at either certification@cna-aiic.ca or 1-800-361-8404.
The release of a candidate’s current certification status in response to other external requests, however, will only be provided with the candidate’s written consent.
Information collected by CNA through the certification process may be used for statistical, policy, research and promotional purposes. This information is used in a non-identifiable form.
