CNA would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2026 CNA Experience Survey.
The survey is now closed.
Launched in February 2026, the survey invited nurses and nursing students across Canada — regardless of CNA membership status — to share their experiences, needs and priorities.
Your feedback is helping us better understand what matters most to Canada’s nursing profession and identify opportunities to strengthen CNA’s programs, services, membership experience, and national role.
What happens next?
We’re reviewing the survey findings and taking steps to explore the feedback in greater depth.
Here’s what we’re working on:
- Analyzing your feedback: identifying key themes, priorities, and opportunities for improvement across the nursing profession
- Continuing the conversation: hosting follow-up consultations in December 2026 with survey respondents who expressed interest in participating in further discussions
- Informing future priorities: using survey findings and consultation feedback to support CNA’s organizational and strategic planning
- Closing the feedback loop: preparing a public “What We Heard / What We’re Doing” update to share what we’ve learned, how we’re responding, and where further work is planned

Our goal is to make listening and responding an ongoing part of the CNA experience, with opportunities for continued engagement and future surveys to help measure progress over time.
